Final baskets from Woody Co and Vicmel Epres ended the third period , 61-47, with UST still on top.

In the final quarter, Magi Sison’s basket from behind the arc and a 2/2 FT by Co at the 3:23 minute mark cut the lead to 11 points, 66-55. But Mirza, Ababou and Espiritu’s baskets made it a 17-point lead, 75-58.

Martin Reyes’ final three-pointer could only reduce the Maroons’ deficit to 12 points for a 77-61 loss.

“Target ko manalo ung last two games,” said Coach Pido Jarencio.
